Early on the morning of December 24, 1990, the insurance industry lost a good friend and advocate with the sudden death of Rus Rice. Although still in his early forties and associated with the industry for just over ten years, he had already left his mark. A life to be celebrated and remembered, the insurance brokers associations of the four Atlantic provinces hope that something of his spirit will be captured each year as the bursary named for him is presented.

The bursary will be awarded on the following basis:

• Financial
• Academic
• Other Interests

An applicant must be a dependent of a broker or a staff member of an IBANB member brokerage in good standing (grandchildren of brokers/staff are also eligible to apply).

Applications are restricted to residents of New Brunswick and must be postmarked no later than July 31, 2020.  To find the bursary form online - click here

• Proof of enrolment at a University, College or School of Higher Learning
• School transcripts
