The Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) designation is a senior-level program created by brokers, for brokers. Designed at a university study level, CPIB challenges participants to elevate their expertise and professionalism within the property and casualty insurance industry.
To enroll, you must have completed either the CAIB or CIP designation.
The CPIB program offers three specialized streams:
Each stream requires completion of three mandatory courses and three elective courses to earn the designation.
IBANB offers all mandatory courses through self-study. Elective courses can be completed through a post-secondary institution of your choice.
Please note: There is a $30 + HST fee for transcript reviews conducted by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada.
