The Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) program is a senior designation program designed and written specifically for brokers by brokers. Positioned at the university study level, this program is designed to challenge the professional excellence of property and casualty insurance brokers.
Pre-requisites for the study are CAIB, or CIP. The CPIB program has three distinct streams:
Within each stream, the broker must complete three mandatory and three elective courses to earn the designation. IBANB offers all mandatory courses via self-study. Elective courses can be completed through a post-secondary institution of the student’s choice.
