**I have been involved in the insurance industry & at Kent and White Insurance since 2015. I started as a personal line broker.
6. How did you get into the insurance industry?
**I was looking for an industry that would give me challenges, that I could learn new things everyday & that would give me a secured job in my home town to raise my family and the Insurance industry was exactly something that seemed a good fit.
7. What is your position?
**I am the personal line team lead at Kent & White Insurance
8. Please give a brief summary of your time in the industry.
**I started at Kent & White Insurance in 2015 as personal line broker. I got involved right away with the Young Broker Network. Thanks to my boss Brian who encouraged me to get involved. I think it made the world of a difference to get to know a lot of young brokers and have their support while being new and learning the industry. I was then a personal line advisor & an account manager for a couple of years to now be the personal line team lead but I like to be able to help where I can even if it means learning new task!
9. What is your favorite part of being involved in the insurance industry?
**It’s a secured job. People will always need insurance. I also enjoy meeting people all over the province doing the same job as me while being involved in the YNB. I am passionate about helping people and in this industry, making sure people belonging are well protected in a case of a loss, it means the world to me.
10. Your aspirations, plans for the future?
**Personally, to try to be the best mom and wife as possible to Zackary and Luc and spend as much time as possible to the people close to my heart. Life is too short. Enjoy the moment.
Professionally, I want to keep learning and be the best team lead I can be to the team. I want to developpe my education on the management side and possibly starts a new designation.
