New Year means a new Young Broker's Network Committee and what better way to get to know a committee than to interview them! This week we are talking with Bailey Collins from All Coverage Insurance.

1. Tell me a bit about yourself and your family.

**I’m 25 years old and have been working at All Coverage Insurance for almost 2 years now. I started working in the industry after I finished my university degree at UNBSJ. I currently live in Rothesay with my boyfriend Evan and our golden retriever Bodhi.

2. Have you always lived in New Brunswick?

**I have lived in New Brunswick my whole life. Just outside of Saint John in Rothesay.

3. What are some of your favorite past-times?

**My favorite past times are mostly spent outdoors skiing, golfing, hiking, and sailing. I love to travel, this year has mostly just been around the neighboring provinces but I’m planning a few bigger trips in the near future. I also love to explore new restaurants around the city and the occasional music festival.

4. Your educational background?

**I graduated from UNB Saint John in 2019 with my BBA with a major in marketing and a concentration in HR. This past year I completed my CAIB designation.

5. How long have you been involved in the insurance industry? As a broker?

**I have been a broker for almost 2 years. I had previously worked in the office during the summers of my university career helping with filing, answering phones, and administrative tasks.

6. How did you get into the insurance industry?

**I got in the industry through my family. My father has been a broker at All Coverage insurance for over 30 years and is now one of the partners. My grandfather was also in the insurance business, he was one of the owners of Finnamore & partners which was an adjusting firm across Atlantic Canada, later sold to Crawford Company. There are also a number of other insurance professionals in my family.  It was an easy choice to get involved in insurance because of the success I’ve seen throughout my family. I am very family oriented and thought it would be a great opportunity to get involved in the family industry.

7. What is your position?

**I’m a personal lines broker at All coverage Insurance. I also help with a lot of the marketing for our company.

8. Please give a brief summary of your time in the industry.

**I’ve been a broker at All Coverage Insurance for almost 2 years. I had work in the office during the summers through out my university career helping out with filing, answering phones, and other administrative tasks.

9. What is your favorite part of being involved in the insurance industry?

**My favorite part about being involved in the industry is when I’m able to help someone through the big moments of their life, like buying their first car, or dream car, or buying their first house. I love that the industry is constantly evolving and there is always something new to learn.

10. Your aspirations, plans for the future?

**In the future I plan on staying in the insurance industry and moving up through my company and to help it grow and learning as much as I can along the way.
