On Thursday, October 26th, the New Brunswick Young Broker Network will be hosting its 15th Annual Meet the Underwriter Night at the Delta Hotel in Saint John, NB. Our live band is our very own broker "Sorcha's Gunn", hit the image below for more information:

This event is open to ALL members of the IBANB. This event is best suited for front-line staff (regardless of age) and new brokers to the industry. If member principals plan to attend this event, they must bring a front-line staff member with them.  Registration begins at 1:30 pm.

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Face-to-face time with the Underwriters

Have you ever wanted to get one on one time with an underwriter to ask all your pressing questions and get the answers you need? In this part of the event, you will have an allotted amount of time with each underwriter to pick their brain on all topics insurance-related. Then when the bell dings on the next underwriter.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Meet the Underwriter

This evening will be a great opportunity for you to meet the company underwriters and staff that you deal with on a daily basis but have never had the opportunity to meet face-to-face. This is also a great chance to network with other brokers from around the province and to build long-lasting relationships with industry colleagues.

The reception will be a stand-up cocktail-style reception with hors-d'oeuvres.  The dress code will be office/business to make it easy for you to come right from your office to the reception if you so choose.

Information for companies: We will have a table set up for each company attending. You will be able to have signage at your table (i.e. banner stand or banner - no large trade show booths please) to promote your company. If you like, you can also do a draw from your table. We will be handing out a 'passport' card to brokers that require them to stop at each company's table to get the passport signed. All completed passports will be entered into a draw at the end of the night.
