Webinar: Using Coaching to Lead

The Goal/Objectives: 

• Build the participant’s leadership skills with a specific tool.
• Build the case for coaching. Why use coaching as a tool?
• Teach 2 foundational skills of coaching.
• Have each participant assess their current level of coaching skills.
• Show how coaching can be employed using real-life scenarios.
• Bonus: Provide takeaway coaching questions participants can use in the workplace.

Project Outline

This 2-hour interactive session is delivered via webinar with a focus on the insurance industry.  At the end of this session, participants will walk away feeling positive and inspired to use coaching in the workplace. You will leave with an
understanding of coaching and how to employ it to get results.  You will feel a boost in confidence as a leader and feel encouraged to show up differently in the workplace!

About your presenter: Dana Lloyd

Over 15 years ago, I was introduced to my first Executive Coach. I connected with this person to find direction in my life. I loved our sessions because they were personal and positive and I could feel something magical happening in our conversations.

That magic was the transformative effect of having an effective conversation that turned a problem into a possibility.

I was so enamored with this skill and the feeling that the coaching process left me with that I decided to become a Coach too.

Ever since I entered the workforce after University, I had an interest in leadership. I didn’t call it leadership then. I was just interested in improving life at work. Improving the way we did things and how we showed up.

Eventually, I combined my interest in leadership with my coaching skills to become a Leadership Coach. It is satisfying work to see people become more confident as a leaders because I know they have the power to affect people’s lives.

Confidence is a key factor in success. It is one of the biggest outcomes in my coaching clients.
