The 60-credit Online MBA program is approved by the Ontario Council on Graduate Studies (OCGS) and is based on Laurentian University’s successful campus program that has been offered for over twenty years, but which has no on-campus requirements. Courses are delivered using leading-edge online technology.The program embraces courses in management science, accounting, finance, organizational behaviour, marketing, operations and strategy and provides for advanced electives for students with an undergraduate degree in business. The availability of these advanced electives allows for tailoring of the program to different backgrounds; commerce graduates won’t have to repeat material they have already learned.

This is all taught by a faculty with the ideal combination of academic qualifications and real world experience, fostering a progressive learning environment.Students in this program will benefit from developing a network of their peers in management and insurance across Canada and internationally. The curriculum is challenging and stimulating, incorporating teamwork and building the leadership and soft skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-paced business environment.

Regardless of whether or not a candidate studied commerce at an undergraduate level, the program expands on the insurance broker’s business experience to promote a higher level of understanding of the skills necessary for sound business and senior management decisions.
